Straight Up Missions would like to help families get on the mission field. SUM can help you work under your local sending church and get you where God is calling you to serve.
Once you are on the mission field you will get on the ground training to help you better serve in the future.

We believe that the great commission Jesus gave His disciples is true for us all. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Go and stay is our philosophy. We have seen over the years that people don’t care what you know until they know that you care. A family that stays on the mission field, loving and serving the local community for years can have a great impact for the gospel of Jesus.
What We Think
Our vision is to see families who are committed to serve Jesus with their lives go into all the world and share the gospel. We want to see families who are willing to go and serve the local community through church planting, discipleship, teaching and preaching the Bible and project development such as Children's homes, schools and clinics. We are a foreign missions sending agency and therefore, only send missionaries who feel God is calling them to serve overseas.
Hands on Missions
For years we have seen a type of missions that works. Hands on, day to day interaction with people. Getting involved in the lives of people and caring about them is the key to Christ-centered missions.
